    This tradition is delightfully continued in the Chapel of Praise-itself a memorial to The Rev. Charles Batten-where the stained glass forms a single unified composition illustrating The Song of Creation (Book of Common Prayer, page 47), the first line of which is emblazoned on a banner that wends its way from one end of the wall to the other. Artist Lisa Vogt is an award-winning artist and author. For Lisa, working in glass allows her to draw upon her fine arts background and own sense of style, drama and whimsy to combine a historic medium with innovative techniques for endless design possibilities.

      The Chapel is lovely and is noticeably clean and polished everywhere you look. It is a working Church with daily prayer.     The oldest Methodist chapel in the world has honoured its founder John Wesley with a new stained glass window illustrating scenes from his life. The window made by glass artist Andrew Taylor was installed today at the New Room in central Bristol, known as 'the cradle of Methodism' and dating from The Sainte-Chapelle has undergone various stages of restoration from the s onwards. Air pollution, the elements, and the large number of visitors all cause damage to the stained-glass windows. The stained glass of Wesleys Chapel book new at stained glass I find this book quite informative. The quality was excellent for being used/5(15).
